Application conditions:

  1. Applicants must be not less than 18 years of age.
  2. Gross annual household income must be no less than HKD$176,500 (for employment of one staff member), for additional staff members the required income level must be multiplied accordingly. General speaking, the salary set out in the employment contract for foreign domestic staff should not exceed one quarter of your household income.
  3. If the residential address given by the applicant in the employment agreement is public housing of goverment, the applicant must produce approval documents issued by the Housing Authority before the application may go ahead.

Application procedures :

  1. The employer signs a service contract with our company entrusting us to handle related application procedures on the employer's behalf.
  2. The employer and the domestic helper must submit the Employment Contract for a Domestic Helper recruited from Overseas (ID407), and the Hong Kong Visa Application Form (ID812) completed by the domestic helper. At the time of application, our company will arrange and supply the required documents and materials, such as photocopy of the domestic helper's travel document, photograph, original of the standard agreement approved by the consul or commissioner¡¦s office stationed in Hong Kong along with a properly completed receipt of documents reply slip (ID813)
  3. Fill in the Sponsorship Form-Application for Employment as a Domestic Helper in Hong Kong (ID428E) in English or Chinese according to the following steps:
    1. Complete all items in Part 1, 2 and 3. And
    2. Do not forget to sign it.
    1. Complete in English or Chinese all items in the Information Sheet from an Employer of a Foreign Domestic Helper (ID822) and sign it.
    2. Do not forget to sign it.

  4. Complete in English or Chinese all item s in the Information Sheet from an Employer of a Foreign Domestic Helper (ID822) and sign it. Please attach the following supporting documents
    1. Photocopy of your Hong Kong permanent resident ID card. If you are not a Hong Kong permanent resident, attach photocopies of your travel document showing your personal information and the page with the most recent entry stamp from Hong Kong Immigration Department.
    2. Provide documents proving you are financially able to employ a foreign domestic helper. Employees must provide:
      1. a salary tax evaluation and tax payment advice or
      2. bank passbook or monthly statement showing 3 months automatic transfers or monthly salary no less than HKD$15,500; Or
      3. a salary settlement advice/notification issued by your company. Self-employed persons or company directors must provide: Either
      4. the latest tax evaluation and tax payment advice or
      5. your company's profit tax declaration and documents supporting your relationship with the company or
      6. a declaration of assets of equal value, such as a property tax assessment notice or receipts of time deposits or saving deposits.
    3. Proof of address showing details such as a water, power or telephone bill. Note: If the supporting documents provided do not show a clear relationship with the applicant, other documents must be provided showing the relationship between the parties such as marriage certificate, birth certificate or record of share allotments.
    4. A testimonial attesting to the fact that the domestic helper to be employed has at least two years of work experience as a domestic helper.
